What happens when a nomadic gypsy meets a chic feminine athlete and a love child is born? Ahem, yeah, you want to know what we’ve been smoking. But no, that’s what Day 3 at the Amazon India Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2016 was all about. The third day exuded a casual, easy-breezy, feminine, athleisuresque, wanderlusty vibe that was infectious. Here’s a quick glimpse at what we saw:
The Hi-5 show featured a bunch of fresh talent,
They were all so wearable, but maybe not brilliant.
Archana Rao showed us her feminine best,
The models looked pretty, flirty and well dressed.
Nikhita’s show had crisp whites, cascading skirts and sharp tailoring,
Featuring the pretty blogger – Shreya Kalra, with all her twirling!
Shweta Kapur’s sportiness hit the right note,
One-sided detailing and cut-outs are a thing, we hope.
Nida Mahmood dished out her firebrand of quirkiness,
With her signature prints, fitted silhouettes and catiness.
Virtues by Viral, Ashish and Vikrant was oh-so wearable,
With gorgeous block prints and structured layering from their stable.
Anupama Dayal’s inspiration was her mother,
She gave us stripes, fringe and off-shoulder wonders!
Sanchita went boho-chic!
But did the fitted-flowy cuts with top hats do the trick?
Amit Aggarwal went wild with print,
Mixing it with some edgy colourblocking for spring.
Payal Jain sent us on a beach vacay,
Going the boho, lacy, beady, resort way!
Anamika Khanna’s off-beat presentation was swell,
She wielded effortless dressing and athleisure, impeccably well!
Stick around for more updates,
We’ll seeya later, mates!
Yeah, we went overboard with the rhyming,
But that’s just our thing!
